STRONGER UPPER is a program born from coaching aerialists and performers and realising many of them lacked broad basic upper body strength. They were brilliant in their skills but their training was so specific that it accentuated strength and flexibility imbalances and past a certain point limited their progression.

While pole dancers are the root of the idea, this program is designed to help everybody else just as well. The lack of upper body strength/mobility is not just an “aerialist” problem, it’s something that I see in many students and clients.

We can all benefit from stronger shoulders, arms, and back and this is what my program and I are here to help with.

Who this program is for

  • Beginners and intermediate wanting to feel confident lifting at home and at the gym.

  • Aerialists, pole dancers, climbers, and gym-goers looking to optimise their performance.

  • People who want a stronger, more endurant, mobile top half while managing the risk of injury.

  • Anyone who wants structure without losing flexibility: fit your training around your life, energy, and schedule.

  • People looking for a progressive training program that they can buy once and repeat at will.

If you’ve ever felt stuck because your arms get tired too fast, or wondered how to progress safely while still enjoying your sport, this is for you.

How its built

Total duration: 24 weeks divided in 3 cycles that progress into one another and can be repeated indefinitely:

  • Cycle 1 (6 weeks): Global reset to build a strong foundation and (re)learn key movements, you’ll build muscle mass and strength,

  • Cycle 2 (7 weeks): Progressive increase in strength and intensity, moving from hypertrophy-ish to strength training,

  • Cycle 3 (11 weeks): The apogee of your work, you will first push into your limits before gradually lowering the intensity to enjoy your new baseline.

Two workouts per week (45–90 minutes each)

  • One session focused on bodyweight and free weights,

  • One session using weights, a pull-up bar, rings, or a pole — you choose the variation that fits your goals.

The difficulty and volume can be adjusted to match your level, schedule, and energy.

What you need & what you get

Equipment options: Dumbbells, resistance bands, pole/pull-up bar/rings, or gym access: choose what works for you.

The variety of weights and machines available in a gym makes adapting the progression easier but if you have enough equipment elsewhere you can make it work just as good.
